Looking for a cheap LCD monitor
Looking for a cheap LCD monitor, I searched the site and found four so far. Skip the Samsung beause it's 1366 x 768. The Gateway and Acer are CCFL-backlit. The AOC is LED-backlit. CCFL-backlighting is largely a disadvantage. However, cheap quality LED-backlit monitors tend to have low color representation and uneven backlight distribution.
Honestly? Spend an extra $20-$30 for a larger 1920 x 1080 monitor with a stand that doesn't suck. It's genuinely not worth saving the money in this case. The price return is huge. |
