Is this deal available for current Sprint customers that are not eligible for an upgrade? I'm eligible in November, 2013. Any sprint employees in this thread willing to chime in?

Call customer service and ask if you're able to get an early upgrade. I had to pay a $50 fee, but it is still cheaper than waiting and paying full price for the phone.

NO! I had this happen when I was going to get an iPhone 5 from Walmart. I found out and it is very true that only Sprint stores and corporate stores can even "see" or look up your SERO account. Do not waste your time (as I did) trying to go somewhere other than Sprint if you have a SERO account. Hope this helps... wish someone had've warned me.

I was going to ask this too. I did confirm with ONLINE EMPLOYEE CARE chat two different times.. only Corp Store can deal with SERO accounts

anyone had success upgrade SERO plan at a non-Sprint Corp Store? I was planning to visit Sam's Club to get the S3 for 97c (I currently have the $30 SERO plan)... but I may just pay $49.03 more + tax just to visit Sprint corp store.

PPS... when I upgrade the two other lines to iPhone 5, I spent more than ONE hour in each store... even Sprint Corp Store couldn't find the +$10 premium data... end up sign me up with the current Employee Everything Data.. and after wasted 1.5 hrs in store, I still end up calling EMPLOYEE Care to get it back

I think I will just call Employee Care on BF when I enter the store and just be much faster in/out the door!

PPPS.... will there be limited quantity and a line? when does the store open? I never knew there is BF deals at Sprint!


NOTE... my plan was $30 F&F plan (retention plan, a non-sero). I chat with Employee Care the past many weeks and was successful switching to SERO 500 for $30. and also confirm can switch to SERO Premium $40 + $10 for "smartphone" anytime.
I did it multiple times for different lines on my account.. so it is NOT just one rep, but at least 5 or more rep all said YES I can switch to SERO 500 $30 plan.

so it is NOT impossible to still get into SERO $30 plan... but I am told more then TWO times that from the non-SERO Everything Plan to Sero 500 is impossible....

sprint is becomming much more strict on these types of issues.

many people have tried to get it waived, but i have seen very few sucess stories.

i have tried myself (in store and online to no avail)

in the past, sprint would do anything and everything (i have 5pm night & weekends, pick 3, free data&txt, etc). to keep customers happy

which is undertsandable since they arguable were in the lower tier in terms of data speed, coverage, superior phone choice, etc (when compared to ATT, verizon, tmobile)

NO MORE NICE SPRINT.

which i cannot undertand, becasue they havent really improved much in terms of data speed & coverage.

sprint is just making it easier for people to leave
