Heads up: Sprint Black Friday 11/23/12 Samsung Galaxy S3 $50 w/ 2-yr contract

I paid $49 as well. I didn't have to waste time trying to haggle it down. The phone is on its way to me, arriving Monday. It is white. Some people just have lots of free time on their hands.

after dealing with sprint's galaxy s II disaster, I will no longer be sticking with them after my contract is up next year. their forced upgrades to ICS pretty much made my phone useless. now, 90% of my calls get dropped, and my phone is always roaming in NYC. not worth the $100 a month it costs for it's lowest tier service as they add a nice $30 of fees in there.

i got mine on my first call for 99 cent it took me 15 min

I scored 2 Galaxy S3's for $0.99 each. I didn't even have to haggle. I just asked how much it would be to upgrade 2 of my lines to S3's. I said that they were $49 yesterday and the Account Manager offered them to me for $0.99 today (Black Saturday). Woohoo! Made my day!

She said up to 5 business days for shipping. She wasn't able to waive activation fees of $36 per line, however, she applied an $80 courtesy credit. I didn't want to jeopardize the deal so I said "Thank you very much, you made my day!"

Can't wait to get them! Wife already upgraded her line to a Note II (to the tune of $299) and she loves it. I debated about it, but the Note II is just too large of a phone.

Yep. Ordered on 11/21, received confirmation immediately, received shipping notice on 11/23. Checked the UPS tracking number and it should arrive 11/28.

I ordered my S3 on Wednesday as well. Didn't get the shipping confirmation until yesterday and saw that it was coming via UPS 3 day. I checked again tonight and it said this:

anyone have an idea of a good screen protector that is case friendly

I just received my s3 today and was trying to activate it online but I'm stuck on the plan changing part. I currently have the old Htc Evo 4g on the SeroP $40/month +$10 data plan and wondering if that's still available? The only available option I see online is the Everything Plus Data plan for $59 + $10 premium data. That would be $70+taxes=~$80

I tried calling but they're closed now..

If you're on the $40 + $10 plan already you shouldn't need to make any changes to your plan. Call the employee accounts line @ 1-888-882-4030 tomorrow and they'll get your phone activated for you.
