Flyboys was a very pleasant surprise - I took a friend to see it who's a vet (I owed him for helping me out on something). Largely accurate history, solid script that's mostly based on a true story, and decent acting. It's not Patton or Tora, Tora, Tora - but it's a solid second tier military movie for those who insist that the history needs to at least be passably accurate, and at least for the two of us there was nothing to detract from enjoying it as a war movie (i.e. none of those - it was great until the ending, it they only hadn't..., etc. type things that are just annoying as heck).

Mr. Harley: I'm afraid my people haven't. I'm very sorry… I wish it were otherwise. The worst form of insubordination is being right - Keith D., marine veteran.
