? about payment from 20/20 research

I've done studies with them in the past. They email you a Pre-paid gift code, but you can request a hard copy instead. The last time I dealt with them, they paid very quickly, but this I am having a hard time getting paid from them. Mine was a few days online, but also had to go to a focus group in-person. I have not gotten paid for the online portion yet, and others in the focus group had already received their email several days ago.

Each time I have done a study for them, I get the email regarding the visa code within about two weeks. I always request the physical card at that point, and it adds about another week to the process. So, roughly three weeks to have the money in hand.

Thanks for the answers. So I guess if they send an email code that it would be for on-line shopping and if I request a physical card then i can use it anywhere right?
Like I said, this is the first time I have done anything with them so I didn't know what to expect..

I just got the email yesterday afternoon. If you are wanting the visa (physical card), call the phone number in the email and be prepared to wait-it took me 5x to get a person to process it.

I had no problem at all getting mine, I got a link in an email, requested the hard copy, I did the same study as OP I believe. Card's been in my wallet for a week now.

They made you call? That's odd. I never had to do that. I just click the link that says "mail card" and put in my address.

Yes, I didn't have a password so I had to call. STILL waiting on the giftcard...

I did an online webcam based study with 20/20 on October 30th, 2012. I have not received any notice from them about a gift card as of November 27th, 2012. Has anyone else taken this long?

just did 1 for them the week before thanksgiving week and got the email 1 week later for my participation and had it turned int oa physical card just waiting said 8-10 days. you can even go online and check the status if you ordered this way good luck

i finished my Study last Monday and i got my payment notification today. You can then choose Virtual or Physical.
**Virtual is meant to be used online
**Physical you can have them send you the physical card itself by mail.

It can sometimes take up to 2 weeks or sooner to get that email notification. The email will be coming from 2020research@vpcode.com and it will say "2020 Research Thanks you for Participating!"

You can send them a kindly Reminder on when should you expect to received payment. They will then respond to you back Promptly.
