I think CoD is the best MP FPS around but think I'm gonna sit this one out. Bought MW3 with the Elite Package and basically lost interest after 1 map pack.

I remember trying to load up and play not that long ago but I had to install all the freaking updates from Elite and by the time I was done, I didn't even wanna play.

I still play the original Black Ops to this day, and preordered BO2. Very much looking fwd to it

MW3 on the other hand... didn't like it and sold it back to Gamestop

Updates on Elite:

Elite [callofduty.com] now free. Supports player, clan, and zombies data.

There will be a Season Pass [callofduty.com] for 4 map packs releasing during 2013 at $49.99 MSRP ($10 saved by not buying each individually at $14.99 each). Lists GS and BB to buy at, but I assume it'll be available on XBLM (got some cheap points cards stocked up)

Also, XBOX360 will continue to get first dibs on the map packs with PS3 and PC following later.

newegg deal is back on. $48 pre-ordered but have to wait a couple days for shipping. now i just have to find a deal on a month of XBL and i'm all set for some dual platform pwnage.

Which game will drop in price quicker? Deciding where to invest my time first. Halo 4 or the new Black Ops 2? Kinda hard to focus on these two games at the same time. I don't want to do what I did last year and buy MW3 and Gears of War 3 but didn't touch Gears of War until Decemeber when it was already selling at 30 bucks. That was a admittedly dumb move and I don't want to do it again. I will buy one at a time. I have Halo 4 pre-ordered at 15 dollars off and Black Ops at 12 dollars off so it would seem Halo would be the one to buy because it's cheaper right now. Probably going to drop the Black Ops at newegg order and wait to see it cheaper around Xmas time but I wanted some other opinions.

Amazon price matched the promo price on my Hardened edition. Getting that shipped for 67$...thats a slick deal.
