Looks like $99 is the new standard for 2TB internals. Let's see how fast they fall even further.

These drives have a 32MB buffer NOT a 64MB buffer. Fry's labels them incorrectly in the subject line but has them described correctly (32 MB) on the page below. That being said this is still a good deal on a decent quality drive.

7200 RPM retail package with a three year warranty for $99?
This is pre-flood pricing! Too bad it isn't green and $15-$20 cheaper or I'd snap it up. |

same UPC search finds the drive also sold by JR and they say:
http://www.jr.com/hitachi/pe/HIT_320003272SP/ 3 yr warr on the retail pack. frys seems to be selling the retail version so its likely a 3yr warr, too. |

+1 for WD drives, they have served me well over the years. I have been running a 2TB raid 0 array with 3 WD 640GB drives for almost 5 years now!
