Another DIY PC deal: Motherboard and CPU combo for $115 at Microcenter

Terrible MB. I returned that pos and got an Asrock Extreme 3 (meant to get the 4, oh well haha).

The bios is junk. Good luck doing anything except running stock settings reliably...if that.

I've used many Biostars and for the money they're generally good, but this is just a pile of crap.
Spend the few extra bucks and get the Asrock Extreme 4. When you see the bios, you'll thank me.

The last time I was there you could pair pretty much any MB and cpu together. It was like a flat 40 dollar discount on the better boards.

I wish they would ship. The closest store is miles away and I'm not going to drive upstate just for the deal.

The TA970XE seems mighty fine for the money if you ask me. I use it. Works well

you freakin' serious, at this price, the i3 is way better, at microcenter.

With the ivy bridge i3-3225 you do.

I do not think so. You can only get $50 bundle discount if you buy i5-3570k or i7-3770k

Lack of USB 3.0 makes the MB pretty obsolete right out of the box.

For MC standards this is pretty much an average "deal" not SD,.

Yeah according to this flyer [microcenter.com], you're right but I think that they do have deals on them from time to time. I wish they would have more bundles on i5-2500s & i7-2700s. It would make more sense to me for them to offer more deals on those older processors to clear out stock.
