The AMD Radeon HD 6370D shouldn't be confused for a 6730m, a much more powerful mobile GPU - you won't be doing any gaming on this. If it came free with a monitor it would at least be good for people who just need a PC for Facebook, MS Office, and Youtube.

Perhaps you think I'm advocating at this price. I'm not. But I gave $100 for the HP, and earlier was a deal at lenovo for $96. Can't beat it.

I think citing sources and not just resorting to petty insults gives me a clue. That's was a good deal for $96 - it's still an awful CPU. You said it's not, I said it is, you called me clueless, I gave you proof that it's slow. Slower than - yes - a mobile Celeron at 1.7. An even better comparison would be a $50 or less Celeron G530, a desktop chip:

Citing cpubench is meaningless, as stated by great intel lovers in many of their posts. I guess you'll have to define fast and slow. You don't have proof, I do, because I own it. You're entitled to believe that mobile processor will out perform this, but it won't.

alright so you agree that this isn't a hot deal. I think everybody is complaining because the processor is slow, and at $280 it's a bad deal. Nobody is personally bashing your computer! Don't take it so personally!
If this was $100, it would be FP, sure.

...also no doubt that celeron is a more powerful processor. But this processor has better integrated graphics performance.

You're incorrect. I've owned a number of AMD APUs, as well as CPUs of various other stripes. My father works with computers for a living and I've grown up around them. Your $100 computer is a great deal if you're looking for a super-cheap computer. That doesn't mean the parts in it are quality parts. AMD APUs are known to be slightly slower than Intel counterparts, though they frequently offer the advantage of superior integrated graphics and sometimes lower power consumption. The AMD chip in this computer is extremely slow compared to any modern processor, including current Celerons, which can be bought for $50 or less. You can insult me and argue with me all you want, but that doesn't change anything
