See, with these backup battery systems I'm always skeptical about whether their capacity rating is true. But I got nothing but trust for Monoprice. Thanks!

My thoughts exactly. When I had bought the items I needed to run my AV cables through the wall for a wall mounted TV, they forgot an item. I called them, and they shipped it priority mail even though I told them I had ordered spares anyway so it wasn't a big hinderance. Took like 3 minutes over the phone. How many companies are like that anymore? |

This one looks too heavy and bulky. Can anyone suggest a cheap, reliable, slim/light unit they use and are happy with?

Its almost a guarantee that this is not 9AH. They are probably using the stated ratings of 18650 cells that are used to make this battery and totaling them up. The general consensus is that if you are buying chinese 18650 cells you get half the capacity of the stated rating. So I'd say reasonably this battery is no bigger than 5000mah.
