Always better to go with the single fastest card you can afford. If you already have 2 2GB gtx 560 ti's in sli it would not be worth the upgrade unless you play games that do not take advantage of sli.

I would not recommend getting any 5 series cards now that the 6 series is out unless the price is phenomenal.

Thanks for the tip. I only use gaming PC for Diablo 3 at the moment as most of my games are on console. Nice to have the extra viewable area when using nvidia surround

I used to have 2 6870s and eventually replaced them with a 7970 - I'd try to sell your one 560 (assuming you already own one) and get the 680. To me it's not worth having two cards due to the heat and noise output. You can also run into some weird issues with SLI and Crossfire - although the software support for multiple has gotten so much better in the past couple of years.

Can I SLI this with a standard 680 SC? I believe the only difference between th two should be the backplate? All gpu and Mem frequencies should be the same, right?

I already own both 560 ti 2gb cards http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForc...+fermi+2gb show here. they do tend to get hot, I have 5 fans inside my case and have considered switching to liquid cooling to see if that changes the vid cards core temps. I have had them get up to about 80° C. And yes, though I haven't played anytime lately ph3|0n, I do still have my account
