Chamberlain Research NON-PAYMENT Run-Around
I participated in a telephone research study interview on July 25, 2012. The topic of discussion was Bagged Ice purchases. The Research company that recruited me was Chamberlain Research located in Wisconsin. The interviewer I spoke with for the recruitment was named Kevin. I was to be paid $75.00 for the interview.
I was to call a researcher named TYLER on July 25,2012 at 10:00am est. Which I did, the interview last for almost an hour. Two days after I completed the interview, I received a call from Chamberlain Research and some lady told me that the study had been filled and they would NOT need me for the research study. I thought this strange because I had already completed the interview. I also thought that there was a mistake and did not call Chamberlain Research back to question about the unusual phone call.
I waited for over two month's for payment and did not receive my incentive. I called Chamberlain for the last two weeks and spoke to someone called TONY, who said I had been recruited for a study that had been filled. I then explained that that I had completed the interview and I asked for payment. Tony said he would contact the researcher and find out if I had participated in the interview.
I called Chamberlain again 4 times this week and was told TONY did not contact the researcher and that I was getting the runaround from Chamberlain Research. I then found out Chamberlain Research is closing down and going out of business. And guess what everybody? I WON'T GET PAID FOR MY INTERVIEW, INSTEAD EVERYONE ELSE GOT PAID FOR THEIR PARTS COMPLETED!!!!!
I would not mind it so much, but I really need the extra money, the $75.00 was going to buy me food for the month of September!
Did anyone else participate in that topic of discussion for Chamberlain Research?

I'm sorry this happened to you OP, but iguana66 is right. I usually make a fuss until I get paid, but it does not always happen the way I want it to go. In any case, thank you for the heads up about the company going out of business.
Hi finzzywinzzy, nice hat you got there. You turn everyday into Christmas. You're the cool cat! That was very nice of you.
