64 ounce Ajax at walmart is $3x3.5=10.50 so that would be about 8 bottles of this.
That and Ajax (Orange) makes your drains, sink, and stuff reek.
As a test, put some in a clean container with some water, stir it up a little to bubble it up, and then let it stand semi-covered or loosely covered for about 2-3 days (just to make it more noticeable and emulate being in the drain) and then give it a whiff... I bet that smell could knock you out.
Interested in high end mountain bike-related deals.
I am not brand loyal very often, but I only use Dawn Dish soap. I have found it's the only thing that really works well on grease, especially on plastic/tupperware type stuff.
I've tried the Cascade w/Dawn packets and they really are better than regular Cascade. A jewelry fellow suggested I use Dawn to clean my 20 year-old Breitling Colt w/stainless band, rather than have a professional polishing. Holy cow! What a difference! I just suds-up a microfiber cloth, gave it a quick once-over and rinsed it off...looks amazing!
It's not often we find commercial products that actually work better than 'the others', but Dawn is pretty slick stuff!
DW keeps buying detergent from Willams Sonoma when she gets her friend's employee discount. Not only do I not like the smell of most of their fragrances, it has very little cleaning power, IMO. I usually shoot for Seventh Generation or similar, but Dawn certainly has its 'place' in the kitchen.
The Sun line of products were staples in Big Lots over a decade ago. I don't think they've ever been known for spectacular cleaning.
