sirius streaming android app display song info on head unit
Droid 4 running ICS and Mazda CX5 with color touch screen in dash. The car has the last song that i was streaming through play music on my phone displayed when streaming on my car's head unit. The phone is not sending the sirius song info to the head unit. Any ideas on how to send this info in android or is it not possible? |

The Bluetooth profile that sends song info (AVRCP 1.3) has to be supported by the head unit, phone AND application for it to work. So if it's working for Play Music but not the Sirius app, my guess would be that the Sirius app wasn't written to work with AVRCP 1.3. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much you can do about that except maybe suggest it as a feature to Sirius.

Does anyone else use the sirius app on their phone over bluetooth and get the songs to display? I can't understand why the dev's wouldnt include this in the app.
