It works , you are the man . I have ACM and used your link to download iso/key of Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit (French) , reps your way and all ACM users should do same . You got me the second key .

You can add your IEEE identifier/product code and surely get the British key . The other English key, is product code/identifier common in ACM and IEEE ?

Except it is a myth that people get sued and myth they get deactivate. MS has done it for schemes where people are selling thousands of licenses, but not scores or dozens or one or two. I am not saying it is moral or ethical, I am just saying that the type in htis tread has never been a issue and those claiming it is will never give you a cite.

I can confirm this works as well with my ACM Dreamspark account which allowed me to add the French version to my cary and check-out with a 2nd Win 8 license key (confirmed it was different from the English one I was provided already).

Edit: I tried this yesterday after the first post but it didn't work because I copied/pasted the url from the original post. You can do that because it is too long (hence the ... in the middle). You need to click the link and then paste the French code into the url near the end (match up the text).

Is it just me or does that seem kind of iffy to download the French version too? Seems like they could see what you did and deactivate both keys.

40oz: I see your point but that assumes that someone is actively looking at your account. Not sure how many accounts are out there but it's probably in the hundreds of thousands or millions. So, if they didn't have a control in place to prevent this then how likely is it that they have an automated way to see how many licenses each account has? The system is already setup to prevent you from downloading certain packages (i.e. English and Great Britain English) so why would they think that didn't work properly? I think there is a low probability of this happening. Probably more likely they would try to track down ACM and IEEE memberships connected to the same person to get multiple licenses (although I think that's pretty unlikely as well).

But, if they look at slickdeals forums then all bets are off!

When I click the link I get an error, then I tried adding the french code and that didnt work, where do I add it?

Can any one confirm if the $19 link for ACM works with Dreams even though it says otherwise in the link? I got confused with one of the previous posts.

I had a chat just now with ACM and was told that the Dream Premium was not included in the $19 student. You would have to pay $42 or something. I am waiting for the IEEE email in a few days to get it that way. $32 isn't bad either.

Yes it worked, yesterday I received and email requesting to sign up to dreamspark using my ACM mail, I downloaded VIsual Studio Ultimate 32 bits licensed and Windows 8 Profesional license included for FREE
