Well for starters I do a few things when it comes to SD
1.) I never click-through SD links. Not for any order that I may place anyway. I always edit their referrer out (sorry you guys...no cashback with SD, means I have to use someone else). This means I almost always review any links I click on SD MANUALLY (yes seriously..). Once in a blue moon I will go through SD but only if there are no good cashback options otherwise.
2.) I have not had any interest in the Wii U with any deal or otherwise.
3.) Ever since the phishing attempt for SD username and passwords a while back (I understand SD has now more or less fixed this by placing urls next to the link to not obscure urls, and have blocked most url redirection services), I have been ever cautious of anything I click on SD. I can spot a phish a mile away.
I called reported it to Walmart. They said one order went through, but went ahead and deactivated my account, reported it my bank, and cancelled my VISA.
End of the day I'm luckily only out $40 at most, so not too bad, but I rather it not be charged in the first place.
Change your password too. That should be keep you pretty good.
You shouldn't even have to be out $40 since it was fraud.

So, I recently had two charges for exactly $40 on my card for Walmart.com. Checked my Walmart account, and no recent orders. My payment info is not only a different card, but a number that expired over three years ago. Went to my bank, and they stopped the charges, as well as the other three that were being presented at the time. All for exactly $40.
I buy top up phone cards for email delivery, and have been checking out as guest and using PayPal. I do have an account that I've had for about 10 years though. So I looked up my password, logged in, and found my AMEX on file there! Looks like I ordered something last year and paid that way. Thanks to this thread I've removed the card from my account. I don't recall telling them to store my payment info, I always try to uncheck that detail.
