What's the chance of USA having a muslim president ?

According to some believers of Judiasm and Christianity, the Constitution is incongruent with their religions, too. As for women's rights, Islam was one of the first religions to grant them, and it restricted any man from having more than 4 wives. As for tolerance, back in the days when all criminal courts in the Middle East were religious, Mohammed had Islamic courts judge members of other religions by the standards of each defendant's religion. He also had a Jewish wife.

That's not to say I'd trust Islam having lots of power, just as I wouldn't trust the vast majority of religions with that, except for Reform and Liberal Judiasm and Unitarianism/Universalism, of course (not a member of any of those).

As for examples of moderate Muslims, how about Saddam Hussein, Yassir Arafat, Bashir Assad, and Gamel Abdul Nassir? They were all moderate in their practice of religion and were brutal dictators only in the secular sense.
