You never know unless you provoke people. I'd like to have an answer to the question from moderate Muslims on these boards... We have here a couple of moderate muslim podiumists and they prefer to keep silence on the topic... |

cause next door to me we have a group of Tea Partiers protesting how high stupid taxes are, when basically that is not true in any sense |

On the other hand, in the West you'll find far fewer religious radicals. You'll still hear occasionally of the abortion clinic bombers or subway bombers, but these people are generally few and far between. They also don't have the support of the general populace. You'd find very few Christians or Muslims in the United States that take an extremely strict literal interpretation of their holy books. |
|
Which, in itself, is a pretty silly state of affairs. They've softened their outlooks on their own religions, despite the teachings of their holy books, to better fit into society. One wonders why, if it's that fluid, they don't just abandon it all together. |

Times have changed. This is not to be compared with homosexuality, however, which has always been condemned. There is not a single homosexual that has gained God's favor, but there have been plenty of women and slaves who have. |

But please feel free to explain how good christians are supposed to determine which biblical rules they should still follow & which have "changed with the times"... |

What I find funny, is that we have heard Obama uttering one hell of a Freudian slip, visiting and participating in muslim mosques and ceremonies, growing up in a muslim country, etc...
And the only proof the other side has that he's not a Muslim is his word... and he's a politician! |
