Hey, you can get a free month of dollar shave club. You can get a free month of The Humble Twin($1/Month + Shipping), The 4X($6/Month) or The Executive($9/Month.)

Use the promo code: D12S4C12

I got a free month of The Executive by using the code.

DEAL IS DEAD

*Reminder: Referrals of any kind are not allowed, including links or codes in the wikis. And they do carry warning points that I will be more than happy to share with any user that adds a referral link. - widgit*

-------------------------------
Or you could go to dorcousa.com [dorcousa.com] (the wholesalers Dollar Shave Club buys from) and get the SXA5000 and SXA5040 blades to save around $75 a year for the "Executive" razor. Several people have mentioned this in the comments, I just wanted to add it here.

I'm not putting down this deal, cause free is free! But you get what you pay for. I've used all of there razors, and compared to the equivalent Shick or Gillette brands, they are inferior. They make clicking noises (the spring), and the blades wear out much faster than the name brands. I still suspect you'd save a little money, but it's not worth it to me for the hassle and the lack of shaving delight.

Not worth the hassle of cancelling, just buy the razors instead of funding this scam: http://slickdeals.net/f/4319194-Cheap-Shaving-Razors-Blades?v=1

Thanks OP!!
I tried using a prepaid card with 0 balance.. but it didn't worked.

Then, I tried with a VCC having $1 balance. It worked this time. There is a pending charge of $0.01 on my card.. Smilie

How do people like the shave club?

Anyone currently using it who can provide some feedback?
I had the subscription of the 4 blades for a couple months. IMO, the handle and razors are built well. I have since cancelled my subscription since they send 4 razors a month and I used 2. Great alternative to Gillette.

As mikefxu stated, you can buy these razors from Dorco USA who I believe is their supplier. I wouldn't call this a scam as it does turn out cheaper than buying Gillette. Not many people know where to buy alternative razors from.

I'd wait till you got the razors. Cancel the day you get it.

I'll stick with my DE razors. One blade is more than enough and it only costs me 25cents a blade.

If I was a sheep and still used multi blade expensive blades this would seem rad, however I can drop $1.76 at Walmart and leave with 10 Wilkinson Sword blades without trying. DE is the best!

Way too expensive. Dollar Tree has pretty good twin blades 10 for $1. Wink

Like someone said... learn to wet shave with a DE razor. I haven't paid over $0.18/blade since I started DE shaving. A year's supply of blades is like $25.

If you want to stick to cartridges, go get the same dollar shave club razors direct from the manufacturer:

I currently get DSC (just switched to 6 dollar every other month plan) and I was aware they ordered from Dorco. Part of the convenience for me is that they ship every other month (since i dont shave often) and I don't really want to order a gazillion razors, even if they are small.

However now that I say that and look at these prices I may renig on that statement. have to take a look at what shipping costs from dorco are.

Are these DE Razors a good shave? I'm curious if you people who mentioned them like them for cheapness or they are actually great shaves.

I just use an electric trimmer, but sure why not, in for some free backup razors

edit: I tried to place my order and it gave me an error that just said "failed"

But if I go to "Account" Tab it shows I made a purchase. Also in my credit-card history it shows a $0.01 charge pending, so I guess it actually did go through...
