Was thinking about getting two of these to do a RAID-0 instead of one 256gb SSD. Is the performance even noticeable for a RAID-0 on SSDs?

Great price, but I'm waiting on the 256GB version to hit $150. I do a LOT of compressing/uncompressing ZIP files and it's terribly slow with my 2.5" drive.

On the fence with this deal. I need a SSD for one of my older computers, but am not in a major rush. Was hoping for a cheaper price given that I paid $70 for an Agility 3 120 GB a few months ago. I understand the 830 is more reliable, but still. What do you think about this vs a Vertex 4 for $80?
I'm mainly looking for a relatively cheap, but reliable 120 GB SSD.. What's the most reliably SSD around $70? |

The Vertex 4 controller plays some games with how it operates. It slows down once it gets over 50% full. Just keep that in mind.

Couldn't hold out any longer, going to use this as my boot drive for my new computer. I'll wait until Black Friday to pickup a 256gb+ SSD for my games. Thanks.

Great drive. But just so everyone knows it is not as fast as its bigger brother, the 256 GB model.
The 256 GB and 512 GB are exactly the same speed, interestingly enough. And the 64 GB is slower than this 128 GB model. All of them are still very fast though. |

But reliability according to users is with Samsung, Intel, Crucial, Plextor no particular order on my part, however, so you have to check for that. I am having the babies that I want or none at all! Bet YOUR life on it!
