each oakley's product who's lenses can be replaced comes with a piece of paper that shows you how to remove the lenses for that particular model. Typically its just bending the frame a certain way so that lens pops out. If you are afraid to damage your sunglasses, I recommend taking it to a oakley's seller and have them install it for you.

Fairly easy, I can switch out my lenses for the shooting range or for playing golf and then back to driving lenses when driving around. If you are only going to make the change once, you can always stop by a sunglass hut in the mall, they will switch out and clean the lenses for you. They will even put in replacement lenses that you are looking to buy and can try out several kinds. Plus, the "hotties" that tend to work there are fun to talk to. yummy

Great deal! I actually got in on a Flak Jacket XLJ slickdeal in '09. Based on my research, these lenses should have not trouble fitting on my 3 year old glasses. I have been looking at replacement lenses for a while (mine are terribly scuffed). In for a pair. Thanks!

Be careful replacing Oakley Lenses with "non-oem" lenses. Take a look at the reviews prior to purchasing. I replaced my Half Jacket XLJ lenses 3 times in 4 years with non-oem lenses, each haad its own issue.

They all fit right, but were made cheaper.

I didn't catch on that they were not "oem" lenses. Thanks for the heads up! I think i will pass on these then since I don't want to mess up my lenses/frame that I have on there now. I don't think the people at Oakley would help out in replacing them if the aren't oem lenses.

Are flack jacket and half jacket lenses interchangeable?

Depends on which Flak Jacket you have.

This is a long video but it talks about the different Flak Jackets, Half Jacket and Fast Jacket. It also shows how each lens can be removed and how some are interchangeable.

Also if you don't mind non OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture ie Oakley) ebay has a lot of different lenses. I bought a pair for my Fast Jackets and they don't fit as nice, thiner and not as good quality wise as the Oakleys.

No these are not polarized, but they do have a coating on them so you can't see the eyes. And to answer ur second question I'm not sure, I don't have them yet, they are still on the way here. If you want I can tell u once I receive them. But I believe you'll be able to use them for driving, thats what I'm using them for (one of the reasons.).

Thanks for the info. To add on, for government and military personnel, we can purchase oakleys direct with just a proof of an ID. Prices are not as good and vary per whichever lens you are looking to buy/replace. Link from OP seems cheaper. Thanks again.
