not bad at all for a desktop OS drive, these have ST3500418AS inside, nice for a budget build...I have 2 running in 2 desktops now, no problems

~$43 out the door for me in CA, that's pretty expensive considering I bought one of these for $32 well over a year ago, but TU anyway because that's not your fault xD

I am surprised they would have much pre-flood new hard drives of this storage capacity to sell. Could it actually be refurbs?

3 out of 5 on Amazon with a lot of 1-stars driving that which means failures usually. One poster claims the problem is with the enclosure portion of the external drive and that the internal hard drive itself is fine.
