Go here and get it cheaper. Kohls is offering all the models with a sale, an additional 30% discount (with a Kohls credit card or 15% without), Kohls Cash and the rebate. I'm not sure what the shipping charge cut off is.

A couple of the coupon codes had indeed expired, so I've refreshed the OP with active codes. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a current $30-off-$150 coupon, so the B60 is now $95 after a $25 code and the rebate.

So I am looking at buying a Keurig and I'm slightly confused. I've read some posts that say that the Vue's are just far better in every aspect, including the cups that you can buy. This makes me lean more toward buying a Vue.

Then I've also read posts about some patent on the K cups that's expired and that everyone will be making them or whatever. Makes no sense to me, but I don't want to buy the Vue if all of a sudden K-cups are going to become the new hot thing and Vue's overshadowed.

Could anyone give me some insight?

The fact that the k-cup patent is expiring means that prices on the cups themselves should come down as more competitors emerge. You will probably see Market Pantry k-cups at Target, Folgers and your other run of the mill coffee producers will probably introduce them as well. More choices will mean lower prices on the cups.

I don't know much about the Vue and its quality vs. k-cups. By designing a new and "improved" cup Keurig can enjoy a fresh round of patent protection on the vue product. During this time any manufacturer who wants to make vue cups will have to get permission/licensing from Keurig. Eventually the vue patent will expire and Keurig will come up with a new generation of cups with some perceived benefit over the vue, in the hopes that their customer base will migrate to the new one. The cynic in me says that Keurig isn't fixing the widely-reported problems with their k-cup brewers (pump failure leading to partially-filled cups) because they want consumers to move from the k-cups to the vue cups.
