These are nice shoes at a decent price. They usually have these on closeout in the winter time for $39 or so. That's when I get them. If you need them now, this is great.

As far as running shoes go, I like New Balance a lot more than Nike. I find that New Balance are a lot lighter and generally provide more cushion than comparable Nike running shoes. It depends WHICH NB shoe you buy as the cheaper stuff is junk, but the higher end $100+ stuff has been great to me. I get good mileage out of the shoes, my knees don't get beat up like they used to with my Nike's. Everyone has their own opinion though...let's let some others weigh in.
