Bought 2 of these to hook up my Xbox 360 as a media extender in the bedroom. The first set arrived with one of the units dead. Returned and reordered a second set that has been working flawlessly for 2 months. Be aware that these only have 100mbit ports. I purchased from Amazon @ 49.99 and I would definitely recommend at this price if this fits your use case.

How does it work? I read the instruction but still, Im a bit confused. I'm using high speed internet Optimum. We have a cable box and a Netgear router on the 2nd floor. We connect 2 computers (1 on the 2nd floor, and 1 at the basement) directly to that router. How can we use this powerline network adapter kit for 2 computers?

How do these get their internet signal? Do you have to plug one of them into your router? I have my router in my master closet, and want to be able to hardwire my bluray player in the front room and my computer in the office. Would one set work for me? Any response is reppreciated.
