Alabama man faces a two-year prison sentence for rubbing his genitals on an unconscious LSU fan in a Bourbon Street restaurant after the BCS national title game.
Clearly, it's not okay to drop your junk on an unconscious person in the middle of a restaurant, but given the context I have a hard time relating to it as crime worth up to 10 years of a man's life- or even the 2 years (possibly mitigated) negotiated in the plea. If this kind of drunken-college-party prank is really that damaging, fraternities are in trouble. TIP: To avoid the stigma of literacy, listen to audio books. |

I'm pretty sure ~100 hours of community service and court costs is sufficient. Why waste taxpayer money incarcerating this guy? Do we really have nothing better to spend our money on?
Hell...."beef stew" was part of our baseball initiation. I believe I've found the solution to obesity in America. Hemispherectomy....no one uses it anyway.

Again, even completely innocent, I couldn't trust a jury to get it right. |

You can't get a job You can't go near a school or park What reasonable/intelligent women would ever want you Your neighbors hate you and picket outside of your house . . . So ya, I'd take a plea deal that didn't make me live with that the rest of my life. |

I only wanted to comment that I've met some Alabama fans and they were pretty upstanding individuals. Now this may be because they had the $ to travel all the way to Pa for a game.. but at least from my experience they were quite nice. I know everytime opposing teams travel to PSU their fans always comment on how kind our fans are.
Now I've had completely different experiences with Ohio State fans.. OMG. Talk about obnoxious. I actually saw several OSU fans kicked out of a game because they refused to stop swearing in front of children, they were also drinking in the stands, throwing stuff at people etc.. |

It is well enough that the people of this nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning. -Henry Ford |
