Do you remember Battling Tops? My sister got that one year as a present, it wasn't very good, usually when one top hit another, they wound up wiping out all the other tops too.

It is more of a cross between Pachisi and Sorry!. Start in one locations, travel around the board and finish in a base or home.

I remember Battling Tops. I didn't have one but a neighbor had a wooden spinning top game where it would travel through a maze knocking down pegs to score. You had to wind a long string around the base of the top and pull hard. Can't tell you the number of times I broke the string.
