Hmm i guess im at a loss as to how you simultaneously think chris rock is dumb when hes considered one of the kings of comedy yet also dislike comedy from the blue collar "crew".

Again, to be fair, being black probably isn't unrelated to his comedic desire to target the GOP crowd. That and I really don't think he'd do well on the blue collar comedy tour.

You said hes "dumber than you thought", what does that have to do with liking or not liking his comedy.

Larry the cable guy is all an act that he puts on to take millions from the lowest common denominators. The guy is brilliant because he knows his fans are stupid enough to fall for his completely fabricated "redneck" lifestyle.

There was significant support for healthcare reform and a significant number of those who don't like the final product don't like it because it didn't go far enough. It's a minority that was opposed to the reform because it went too far. GM was down year-to-year last quarter, but still profitable and suffered less than Ford (not a management failure, but a market slowdown). There is no such thing as an "Obama recession." Our foreign relations are dramatically better than the previous administration. He's responsibly scaled back the military engagements he inherited. And we all know who is responsible for the credit rating fiasco, and we all know that it's not Obama. Hell, he's been a relative miser when it comes to new spending.

Very nearly every metric has improved under his administration- certainly from where it was headed when he moved into the Oval Office. Romney has acknowledged this. About all that is left for him is to say "I could probably do better." That's not exactly compelling.

I actually meant to mention the number of times that Obama has reaffirmed US commitment to Israel, but simply forgot amidst all the other nonsense that was in his post.

It's either schtick or a profound disconnect from reality.
