[Live again] Samsung Galaxy Note (refurb) AT&T Android cellphone $49 (with 2 yr contract)

Note 2 comes out this month, probably the 21st rumored; I will be getting that.

This is a good deal on a great phone with excellent dev support on XDA Developers. I bought the $49 refurb last time this was available and came promptly and looked brand new. I got AT$T to drop activation fee.

Thumbs Up to counter the TD. Not sure why people jump on these threads to say the Note 2 is coming...Yes we know that, and not everyone feels comfortable dropping $250+ for the latest and greatest phone. For $50 this is a very good phone.

Got it about a month ago for the same $49, no activation fee. Found later that it has one dead blue subpixel (almost not noticeable, btw), tried ordering replacement - it also came with one dead green subpixel - sent that one back and decided to keep the first one, since I already rooted and flashed several roms

Be aware that many refurb Notes have dead sub-pixels... but the pixels are so tiny, you can't see it dead unless you really try hard.

Absolutely. If you are within 30 days of return - call them. I've done it with my Refurb Captivate 2 years ago. Bought for $69, it went down to $9.99 the following week. I called and CSR refunded my credit card the difference. I started my conversation with "I want to return the phone and get it for cheaper unless you can match the current price"

over an hour on the phone and I was told a manager will have to call me back in 24-48 hours to process my $50 refund request. The person I spoke too had horrible english skills so I might have to call back myself in a few hours.

Can any contract phones come close to the same value as straight talk? I was using straight talk for about a week before i dropped my phone in toilet last night. Looking for a cheap unlocked phone to replace it but surprise surprise most unlocked phones for cheap suck

Is the $250 price for the note 2 confirmed? is it with att?

I got the phone!!!!!! OMG i'm over here crying, I wanted this phone so bad but just didn't want to pay all that money. They let me get it for $49 and I got a free upgrade saving me $250!! I tried doing it myself online but it didn't want to go through so after 3 calls to ATT I finally got someone who really helped me out. I'm so happy.
When you get to my age "over 40" and you have vision problems a phone like this is a Godsend!! I will keep it until something bigger and better comes out. I know the note2 is coming out but after I saw the screen size difference was only 0.2' I decided to just get this one, since screen size was my main reason for wanting this phone.
If I can just get a good deal on the LG 65' TV i've been wanting forever that would make my YEAR! Thanks to the deal lister!!!!
