No employee is, really. But the policy is paid for on behalf of all regular employees. UI benefits are a policy payout, not an entitlement program.

Unemployment is NOT an entitlement program.
They paid for it.

My post was to show that in the vast majority of cases the employee does not pay for any of the unemployment benefits they may receive. So the "they paid into it, they should be eligible to receive it just like any other type of insurance" was not valid. Nothing in my post mentioned that they should not receive it.

It depends on what you consider paying for it. If the payment by employers is part of the overall benefits package, then one can consider it paid for by the employee indirectly. If one doesn't like indirect payments, then it wouldn't be considered paid by the employee.

all countries where the unbalance of wealth ends up in destruction, its just that the rich last moments are ended horribly..

So the question is how would society balance such issues to prevent its own self-collapse.. Obviously failure to try is what will cause its own destruction..

The problem at the end is when the rich gets dragged out in the open, tortured, tarred and feathered, they will find that nobody ( all those underneath them before ) will be there to care about stopping the mob, just like they NEVER CARED when they were living it up before...

So do employers have to pay unemployment insurance for employees who happen to be millionaires? If so, then the millionaires have just as much right to the unemployment payments as anyone else.

Doesn't matter if they are required to pay for it, they can still consider it part of the benefits package considering it is explicitly attached to the employee.

In the majority of States, benefit funding is based solely on a tax imposed on employers. Three States require minimal employee contributions. So unless the millionaire lives in one of these three states they aren't paying into the fund.

I don't consider unemployment benefits part of a benefits package since it is mandated by law just like I don't see Social Security as part of a benefits package since it too is mandated by law.

I never said they didn't deserve or have the right to receive unemployment benefits. I was pointing out that the posters who said "they paid into to it" was wrong. The employer is the one who paid not the employees.
