Before you buy a digital Antenna, please do your homework. There are several websites which provide you information regarding digital broadcasts specific to your location. (google 'digital tv antenna' ; www.antennaweb.org , http://www.tvfool.com/ etc..).
These sites can give you an idea as to where the TV transmitters are in relation to your location. The point I am trying to make is that just because it works great for someone else does not necessarily mean it is going to work for you (and vice versa).
Note that it's a passive antenna (no amplifier). I've had problems with antenna's that aren't powered (in my area- some tall buildings/trees), and once I've turned the amplifier on, I've had much better results.
I tried few different flat antennas but none were good as a rooftop antenna, i would say check out amazon and get a cleap one, which will work better than a digital indoor antenna. I get all local channels in HD w/o any problems and signal strengts are in 95%. Im about 25 miles to the TV towers.
I just returned the same model to Wal-Mart last night. For me it didn't work any better than the 20 year old cheap rabbit ears I had lying around. Keep in mind this one doesn't work well for VHF - if you have VHF stations and live more than just a couple of miles from the transmitter, then it may not be of much use. I've noticed VHF seems to be played down on antenna advice sites as less common/low-tier stations, etc. But here in Phoenix PBS, the main HD Fox channel and NBC are all on VHF.

Reason: Stated incorrectly that this was UHF only.
