I almost got screwed on eBay

I don't know what's with Ukranian buyers.

I had an item that sold to a Ukranian guy that said I only shipped to the US and the "free shipping" offer was ONLY for within the US.

Guy said he would be willing to pay the extra shipping (which ended up being like $50...like 1/4 the price of the item he bought).

End of the day it was legitimate but many times I wanted to back out, but it seems the Ukranian guys do bid a lot higher (like a 2nd chance offer was not an option essentially because it was lower than my cost after fees..go figure).

Luckily my guy spoke English pretty well, but he got pissy with tracking (RIGHT, like I would trey to scam YOU), and if you're willing to risk it, the Ukranian guys do seem to always push a little more cash your way. Maybe it's taxes or something in their country...

I sold three iphone 5's on ebay. Just terminate all the ones that are suspicious. Just contact the ebay fraud department and they will help you do this. you have to with paypal rules nowadays. I knock them ALL off til I hit someone with 100 and positive.
Since it was $2400 total for the three transactions I used a paypal account not tied to my bank account. the day the money comes in take it out and close the account.
There is quite a bit on ebay forums on avoiding chargeback schemes. you are safe if you know what you are doing. you just need to keep like 10 paypal accounts open with some minor transactions so they clear the money to you right away
