Anyone wanna confirm if Adorama honor rebates.

How do I cancel the order, I just realized this is the same rebate I did for the T3i, they gonna deny my claim.

Is it because you ordered in this same rebate period?

To cancel, the best option would be to call them up and speak with them on the phone.

If you were to buy the camera and printer from Adorama at the same time, then yes, Canon would honor the rebate. But, they won't honor an Adorama rebate form for a camera purchased from somewhere else. Thus why you would use the Beach Camera rebate form that DJ found

That said, the beach camera deal looks much sweeter than Adorama's. So let me ask another question, does Beach camera honor rebates?

I assume that because this deal is $300+ cheaper than anything Adorama can offer, and that on a deal site, most people are looking for the best deal possible. Beach Camera has done dozens of these deals and I haven't heard any major complaints about getting the rebate back. As long as you follow the instructions, it should be no problem.

And yes, depending on what you want to keep and sell, the deal is really good

sell printer for $100-150 = kit for $2050-2100, which is a few hundred cheaper than I've seen before (I think $2350-2400 was the previous low)
sell lens for $750-800 = body for $1300-1350, which is cheaper than Canon was selling the body refubished.

I'm being a bit paranoid here, but the rebate form states that:

As far as I remember from my 50D purchase they send you a "normal" receipt that doesn't mention EBay. Does that sound accurate? Thank you!

I did the earlier 5D Mark II ebay rebate that was valid from July,1 to Sep 30. Does that make me ineligible for this rebate?

Edit: Spoke to Beachcamera, and they said that the deadline for the rebate has been extended. So that makes me ineligible for this rebate

I just noticed that as well!! Now I'm a little scared! Already made the purchase. I'm taking screenshots of the page where it says rebate DOES apply to the purchase on the ebay page.


Can someone tell me how easy is it to cancel this purchase if things get a little messy?
