Diamondback Recoil full suspension bike comes out to less than $400 after coupon and shipping! Pretty good deal on an entry-level full suspension bike.

I'm new to biking and I'm looking for a bike to commute around Austin.
I've been to a couple local bike shops and tested out some bikes. The areas I'll be biking around will have hills, so that rules out single speed bikes.
I've tested out these bikes and liked them:

Specialized Sirrus Sport ($620),
Globe Work ($380),
Cannondale Quick ($425),
Cannondale Adventure 4 ($495),
Torker InterUrban ($649).

But they're all going to cost me over $400. Are they worth the price or should I take advantage of these sales on Nashbar? Do you guys have any suggestions similar to these bikes on Nashbar?

Is the Franklin good for the price?

How about any ones of the bikes on BikeDirect.com for under $400?

I already talked to one of my LBS and they said it would cost around $60-100 to assemble the bike so I'd have to add that to the cost if I ordered from NashBar or BikeDirect.

i don't know about "SUPER"!!! sale, pretty ordinary.

that's a whooping 1% more than their usual 20% sale...
& you never get % off & free shipping. they always alternate.

not saying that there might not any good deal to be found!

at least their sales/marketing policy is not as convoluted & confusing as sierra trading post...;-)
