The one you are referring to is 1920x1080
The one in OP is 1920x1200

This is a sweet deal, I have the 24" ultrasharp from 2006 still running strong. I'd love to get this at this price but can't justify if my monitor is working fine. I'm sure with IPS and enhancements in technology, this would look much better than my 6 yr old model... I'm very tempted to pull the trigger...

The one you are referring to is 1920x1080 as opposed to 1920x1200 on the U2412. That's why HP is cheaper.

I got the HP monitor. I didn't want to spend too much on a monitor.
Of course the Dell Monitor is better, but HP one is not bad too for the price.

In addition to the aforementioned resolution difference, the 2312 is a 23" screen with an LED backlight whereas the 2410 is a 24" screen with a fluorescent backlight.

If people thought $404 was FP worthy with an extremely long thread, then $~350 is certainly FP worthy, and quite the deal. The comparable 2413 model will most likely come out around $700. These are extremely high quality monitors for quite a cheap price, all things considered. It remains a slick deal, and will remain so at these prices possibly for another month until inventory is finished being cleared out.

I've had this monitor since it was released and have played all types of games on it. From shooters to rts to diablo III. Great monitor.
