Nook Tablet is great as-is without modification due to Netflix and other things. Unfortunately, the 8 gig version is not easily hacked even with the $30+ SD card. I really want to like it but I don't because of the hackability problem with the 8 gig version. Contrast the very hackable Nook Color and Kindle Fire I'm a little disappointed in it.
Google Asus Nexus 7 is great, too, and a better deal with a higher-res screen, but it's also not easily hacked, but you don't need to hack it because it already has what I want on it. |
