D-Link DIR-601 Wireless N Router (Refurbished) $10

Should have listened to the reviews on here this thing is straight crap the range is about 15 feet. Oh well you get what you pay for. Also the thing looks likes its been used for years.

Got mine in today but after hooking it up im not getting no internet through the router. Mine didnt come with no cd. Could this be my prob???

Got mine today. A1. We are in business.

Edit: Installed DD-WRT and it is working like a charm! Great range too compared to what I expected with the reviews. It was kind of a pain to install though as I am not a techie but I figured it out.

it came with the router (B1 with 2.00NA), power supply and a CD

few funny things found in the dlink website
1. looks like B1 is a newer hardware
2. the manual is for B1
3. the firmware is only for A1
4. no 2.0 or 2.1 firmware for B1

anybody knows where to get 2.1 firmware? Thanks!

I put DD-WRT on mine yesterday using the link posted above and it was super easy. It has been running rock solid and the wireless range is really good. This router might be crap with the stock firmware but it appears that flashing DD-WRT onto it makes it a pretty solid little router for the money. I am glad I got the A-1 version this time and I hope they figure out a way to make DD-WRT work on the B-1 version so I can use the one I got from last months Tiger Direct deal.

Is the GPL source code for B1 helpful for the dd-wrt programmer to develope the firmware?

I am not sure but from what I have read most of the time they want you to send them a actual version of the router you are wanting the new firmware to work on.
