To the people who haven't tried the Batman games yet, don't let the morons crying about DRM stop you from trying it. These two titles are awesome and DRM has never stopped me from playing any game. I've had no problems whatsoever and highly recommend picking them up, there's a reason they're rated so well.

Translation: instant gratification now so you can take it up the *** from companies later. I've personally had terrible experience with securom/solidshield/tages etc.. which is why I'm so strongly against them. If you haven't good on you, but no need to belittle those who have and refuse to install viruses on their machines just to play games. I guess if all you do is browse and look at pron when you aren't playing games, then maybe this doesn't matter to you. And it's irrelevant how "good" a game is. There are practical considerations here, in addition to matters of principle. My opposition grew out of my terrible experience with DRM schemes. So principle is based on experience. They fooled me once. You fool me, you can't be fooled again. But seriously, I've tried giving DRM schemes benefit of the doubt and they've always at best had a detrimental impact on my computer performance. Akham Asylum was fun at the start, but got tedious by the end. I wouldn't rank them as that over-the-top awesome and certainly not enough to counteract having to install a rootkit virus to play them. If you want to play them that bad, get the console versions. Last edited by compguy; 10-14-2012 at 10:31 AM.. If you're a conservative and hate taxes:
http://www.bestoftheblogs.com/Home/43020 Why slickdeals I awesome: I post a deal, it gets reposted 30 minutes later. I report the repost, and slickdeals warns me for "not doing my own work" when all the new poster did was post incomplete info and add links an hour after they blatantly stole my post. Obviously, this is the right way to encourage me to post more deals. |

Arkham Asylum was OK but I think Arkham City was better overall. There's more challenges to complete and you can play with the two other DLC characters. Currently playing XCOM and loving it. |
