This is a steal based on normal pricing. however, the strollers that last the longest and are pretty damn configurable usually are in this range. i kind of want to pull the trigger on this to replace my quinny buzz since i just found out we're growing the family again, and this will expand to an inline dualie for a little more money. my quinny wont.

Gilt has these regularly on sale, but I can't remember for how much. My wife has been happiest with the Bob Revolution SE...we recently traded ours in to REI because we needed to get the duallie. We often go on long hikes/jogs with the dog though, so YMMV depending on what you are using it for. This is probably a good choice for a versatile city/indoor stroller.

I think some of the features include a lightweight metal frame, adjustable handle for taller people, no flat tires, exchangable bassinet/seat, carseat adapters for a few brands (chicco, graco). Very good turning radius, although a little wide. It's probably very comfortable for the baby. The seat itself has some reclining options and it also includes a mosquito net and rain cover as well as good sun protection. I have one although, I bought the older model when it was on sale last year for mid 300s, which is a little more palatable for me. We were able to use the basinett when our daughter was first born and it made it easy to put her in the stroller to take around for a walk.

One nice thing is you can easily sell these used, unlike the cheaper plastic models which you will end up giving away, or throwing away.

Anyway it's not for everyone, but $500 is a pretty good price for the new models.

So that you can brag about spending a bunch of money on a stroller; and shame all the other parents around you, and make them feel like they don't love their accessories,*cough* excuse me, Children, as much as you do.....It's a fun little game snobby people play...I see it all the time in San Francisco...Good times....

The Baby Jogger City Select can be had for less and provides for even more configuration options than the Vista. We looked at both extensively and opted for the City Select.

I have a 2011, totally rocks. Great price for a 2012!
