PM is highly YMMV. Some managers will want to call the store and see if they have copies of the same item in stock.

That's what my local manager did. He was kind of a jerk about it, too, even though I had driven to Toys R Us first and taken pictures with my phone of the prices.

most best buy managers are jerks. ive only had one painless price match

Picked up Batman AC, Rage, AC Revelations, MW3, and Starcraft Battlechest. Couldn't find D3 or Skyrim though, may have to PM to Walmart or BB for those.

I was able to price match Diablo 3 at a Target. Cashier and manager said that they normally can't price match online (just print ads), so I guess I just got lucky.

EDIT: And I PM'd Skyrim at BB too.

I went to BB with a print out and they PM'ed for me.
They still checked the Toys R Us website though, despite my printout.

Went to best buy today, first store got turned down, even after complaining to the manager. They called several toysrus and none had it in stock, so they didnt price match

Went to a second store and got lucky, cashier didnt even check the toysrus website, lol, he said the print out was all he needed xD

Bought diablo 3 for 10bucks, needed a second account.

Where do you get the print out? It's not just a printout of the website advertised price is it?

Got Walmart to price match for D3. Printed out the online web page. They complained that was an online price and couldn't price match. I told them that was the price at the TRU store. They called TRU and came back and price matched.

Had to FIGHT the manager at my local Walmart, but they ended up giving me 2 copies of Skyrim for $9.98 each! They made me call Toys-R-Us and crap to confirm it. Spent about half an hour at the store, but the guy finally cracked and PM'd.

Totally worth it for a hard copy of Skyrim for $10.

Isn't it just a Steam Key with the installation files on the disc? I'm with you in that I love my hard copies, but these days it doesn't seem as essential anymore. Unless it comes with a nice manual, unlike some new games with their 3 page "manuals".
