Yeah no those are pretty top notch. Although I'm personally not a fan of plasma. My biggest problem with active 3D is the glasses. They are expensive, heavy, and hurt my eyes. I only watch 3D maybe once a month anyway.

Not sure why the OP's headline still says "no tax". Fry's charges tax in most states. Also not getting a free shipping option. It says $4.55.

3d does not look better with passive glasses. This isnt an opinion, it is a fact.

Passive glasses cut down the resolution. Each eye only sees half the lines.

With active glasses both eyes see every line of resolution, it just alternates between eyes very quickly.

Cutting down the resolution doesnt just make the picture itself look worse, it also hurts the 3d effect because the tiny differences between what each eye sees is what CREATES the 3d effect. The less detail, the worse the 3d effect is.

Passive glasses = dvd quality even though its on bluray.

Active glasses= blu ray quality on blu ray.


You can go ahead and say you PREFER passive over active, but say passive is BETTER than active is the same thing as saying dvd is better than blu ray.
