It should be no tax for those that don't have a Fry's store in their state, California, Arizona, Texas and where ever else they have store will have tax charged.

I have the Extended DVD edition. The story is more complete with the long version and characters/actions make a bit more sense with the added footage throughout the movie. The other deleted scenes that were not added back in the movie are interesting, but good they were not used in any movie version.

Overall though, it still is a basic/average story with very impressive visuals.

Um, maybe the cheap TV that you bought did, but mine did not. Sortof. They had a limited promotion where you get a AVATAR 3D and glasses package if you bought the TV. I sold my set on eBay for close to $300. I also sold the Avatar Blu-Ray the came with my Blu-ray player for $110.

I thought it would be nice to pick up a cheap pair of glasses now that 3D discs have finally started to drop in price. I don't need two pair because no one in my family gives a crap about 3D.

Decent price for a new release, but I'll pass and wait for them to release the extended edition on 3D Blu-Ray.

I think the theatrical version is just fine. Enough is enough. Also many waited for the extended version just because of some extended love scene that was rumored to have been cut out in order to keep its rating. The extended scene turned out to to be nothing more than the interlocking of braids for a few seconds from what I'm told.
