It seems that the wifi problem is widespread among all ultrabooks. A quick google search for "ultrabook wifi" will show that the tops searches are "dell ultrabook wifi issues," "hp ultrabook wifi problems," "asus ultrabook wifi malfunction," etc....can anyone with a different ultrabook confirm this? However, bought one anyway. For $600, it was cheapest real ultrabook i could find (>3lbs and >0.7in thick). Besides, it looked pretty nice in store and more importantly, the keyboard was the biggest I could find after going over to BestBuy to compare all the other ultrabooks. I found that most ultrabooks had keys way too small for a typical adult and has the buttons squished together. This one however had decent size keys and the buttons were spaced apart enough where it wasn't a pain to type. A lot of people also complain that the mousepad is clickable near the top (go to a store and start pressing down in randon places on the touchpad and you will see what I mean). I was worried at first when I noticed that it was true when I played with the mousepad in store. However, when I checked at BestBuy, the same problem existed for every ultrabook so it made me worry a little less. It not too big of an annoyance after a couple of minutes of typing on it. Overall, considering it is also a 3rd generation processor that isn't the lowest model for an i5, I don't see why it isn't at least a decent deal.
