1)PLEASE stop posting about CA sales tax and recycling fees
2)The "no HDMI, deal killer" joke isn't funny 3)Stop comparing video cards to cars, the price ranges are completely different 4)You are NOT going to call your relative to SUE and if you are, you're wasting time 5)Why does Tigerdirect ask for your SSN? No clue, just don't give it to them 6)Black Friday deals aren't as great as people make them seem. |

Oh, and if there is someone interested in the H77, NewEgg has an open-box right now for $80: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...813131841R |

If you need a cheap and good quality PSU you should look at the Seasonic S12 II's. They have 80 Plus Bronze Efficiency. The 520W version received a 9.7/10 on johnnyguru JhonnyGuru [jonnyguru.com] For video cards

This works as htpc, lite server, gaming, or all three with the right motherboard. Another 6 expansion slots would be pointless. |

Great case. It is HUGE for an itx case but it can do and hold alot. If ur looking for htpc it is 2 big for a living room but if u want a gaming rig you can put whatever you want in there. Air or water cooled cpu. Full size cards a ton of drives and a ton of fans. It does wobble a ton if you touch it.
I have had it set up for a week and love it. I am installing a water cooler for my cpu 2night. Great price. |

im liking this. any reason that this is NOT a good HTPC/media server case?
im thinking about pulling the trigger. any reason to wait? ive never even seen this case before. i want to be able to put an ivy bridge in it. is ivy bridge powerful enough to run large video formats. would it be necessary to get a video card? Price is what you pay (slick)- Value is what you get (deal).

I prefer the Lian-Li ITX cases in terms of styling. The PC-A08 holds 6x 3.5in drives, at least 1 2.5 in drive, and a 5.25in drive while leaving room for a full sized PSU. Alternatively, you can fit a full sized GPU at the expense of 2 3.5 in drive bays.
There's also the PC-Q25 that's probably better for a file server with the internal hot-swap bays. That case will take 7 3.5in drives, with 5 of those bays on a hot-swap backplane. They're a bit more expensive, but I think they don't look as garish as the Bitfenix. Q08: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6811112265 Q25: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6811112339 |

PC-Q25 is what I'd get, but at $60 this is worth considering.
I still think it's too large for what you're getting. You can do the same in a PC-Q08. Not to sound like a Lian Li nut, but I wish that space was justifiable. We're talking about ITX, space is supposed to matter. Granted some of the wasted space is the handles. However, I think the market for this is someone who wants no compromises gaming. That is huge tower cooler for the CPU or probably liquid cooling for both cpu and gpu. This is the only case that can do that at this "small" of a size. |
