We understand that deficit spending is a tax in and of itself. But that isn't a lie; it's a fact. President Obama didn't tell lies, he said taxes on the wealthiest need to be restored to the Clinton-era levels.
I got a better solution. Tax the Chinese.
Blessed is the man, who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly. - Psalms 1
Bob Barr voted for the Patriot Act, way to compare a real Libertarian to an establishment tool. Best I can say about Barr is he's lukewarm. I'm not sure what. But he is indeed lukewarm; perhaps a bit warmer than Romney, if that makes you feel better. Paul is a true Libertarian and well-versed in Austrian economics, he doesn't waver on his principles and I haven't heard of him voting to take away personal liberties. You think there's a Libertarian case for Mitt Romney, that's rich.. last I checked Libertarian and Statist aren't synonyms. Romney will infringe on civil liberties of Americans even moreso than Obama. If you want a war in Iran you know which Zionist to vote for. I don't think I'll vote for either.. but if I had to choose, it'd be Obama.
As for QE3, remember Bush appointed Bernanke, and Obama re-appointed him. There hasn't been a fiscal conservative since what, Reagan perhaps? That's even questionable but I'd say Reagan actually had the best interest of the American economy at heart. Romney is surely in favor of QE3 - he's a Keynesian, just like every other establishment Democrat and Republican. And note the interest rates were near 0% when Bush left. Typical Keynesian assumption that low interest rates will dig us out a recession. If you think Romney would have them raised to something sustainable like 4%, in .4% intervals over a couple years, you're delusional. Neither party will fix the economy.
