Charles Schwab Global Account FREE Online Trades Until 03/2013(Currency Conversion Applies)

Honestly, I do not think so. I think it's meant for trading stocks and/or other securities in the respective countries' currency.That's where the currency conversion fees come in. I do know that the Schwab One account allows you to trade in foreign markets, but has minimums to open and charges for each trade.
The Global account was just something I stumbled upon when logging in from my gf's laptop. ( I usually use my phone to check balances and trade executions.) Admittedly I have been looking for ways to purchase Samsung stock prior to the Apple trial and found ADR's, [adr.com] but honestly I am very new to this as well.


I figured free trades for 5 months and no minimum opening amount was a decent value if you are knowledgeable of this kind of trading. Unfortunately I am not one of them...I just saw value. One thing I do know is that Schwab customer service is at a standard higher than any other bank I've dealt with. I would give them a call, but that is the first rule of Slickdeals isn't it? NEVER CALL!!
