Alright my message never went through, but this thread isn't getting enough traffic to get my hopes up. I had wanted to know if the 2012 would have current definitions and be a 365 day liscence? I can't find any helpful information on their website and they have removed all non-2013 product's informational sections.

For BitDefender, this is a box product of the 2012 version, the rebate is a cash card for $60, but the upgrade for the 2013 version is free.

What's up with the "Draft" watermark on the rebate form for Bitdefender?
Edit - figured it out. Very weird. Showed up on my Mac, but when I viewed and printed the PDF on a windows machine there was no watermark. Last edited by dotcomjunkie; 10-14-2012 at 06:39 PM.. |

Just curious, what kind of systems is this being used on? Microsoft Security Essentials works great for me and it's free. I can't understand why anyone uses anything else...

Resource Hog!!
I am glad Bitdefender was free. I installed on a fairly new (mid-2011) Macbook Pro and it slowed down to a crawl  Uninstalled. Now waiting for the rebate.

My question is how quick is this rebate?, and has anyone had any horror stories with their rebate not going through or just coming in so late you already accepted the fact you got ripped off?

I received an e-mail that my rebate was being processed - but as of today still shows as Submission being processed. (since 10/26)

Hopefully you'll have more luck than I did. They still want a copy of the UPC I sent in but didn't backup.
