I got one for free (but I SNAPPED)... do they have internet access in jail?
After several months of cancellations, slow ordering process(es), bad phone/store customer service and then finally this incident... I just flipped. Here's my story: so, after they cancelled THIS order I got so effin' pissed off at Sears/Kmart (and their INACCURATE and painfully slow and arduous joke of a website(s)), that I just decided (against my sane judgment) to march right down there and grab one of these $20 trimmers right off the shelf... and then walk right out of the store with it. You see, even though my local Sears cancelled my order, I KNEW they had them in stock - I could just feel it in my bones (also, they've done this to me before - cancelled, and then I walk in a day later and see 6 or 7 on the shelf). And that's just what I did. No one stopped me... no one. It was getting a little dark outside so I figured I'd get tackled by someone with a Sears uniform on before I reached my truck. But the geniuses at Sears probably just didn't care... and just watched me walk out. I figured hey, they don't really care about selling anything there so why should they care about anyone stealing anything right out from underneath their own noses? I still can't believe I not only did what I did... but that I was THAT mad that I did it. I swear, I think at least 2 or 3 slack-jawed employees watched me just waltz out the sliding front doors with this thing. Unbelievable. Of course, I am going to return it first thing in the morning - but I thought I'd get this off my chest to all of you (my meltdown, my remorse, and my confession). I hope they seriously don't prosecute me... I know some of them in there by face - I almost hope they ban me from Sears for life. Would make things a lot easier and save me soooo much time. Don't get me wrong, I love Sears/Craftsman items and they do offer a lot of nice things periodically at great discount prices. But dealing with them (the store/the website/customer service via Phone/chat/email/in-store) - the whole ball of wax - has driven me to be a thief - well, that is the LAST STRAW. Wish me luck in the morning. Last edited by jmdubya; 10-04-2012 at 06:31 PM.. |

Sears.com Terms & Conditions Not eligible on Home Delivery Charges, Auto Services, PA & Installation, Master Protection Agreements, Take With, Protection Plans, Sears auctions, Landsend.com, PartsDirect, Craftsman, Kenmore or Outlet purchases. So now I wonder if it will work. |

Nice find. I am tall so the telescopic shaft is nice. Have a gas craftsman that works great, but this electric is great for smaller jobs and convienant. Gas is powerful and sometimes it takes more than a few pulls on the string to start. I hate that.
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something.
