How is Apple "big business"? And how are individuals getting duped?
Apple: "It is the largest publicly-traded corporation in the world by market capitalization"
Plus they are notorious for releasing products with very small incremental updates that at times aren't even close to on par with their competitors. When the first Android was released it had a 5MP camera. The iPhone was on its 2nd or 3rd iteration with only a 3MP camera at the time. Just an example of how they bleed out a feature. That's not a grass roots company tactic.
Let's go with speed, battery life, size, the walled garden and quality control of apps (How many trojans have you seen in the App Store versus the Play Store?), excellent design concepts, apps that are far more attractive than their android counterparts, etc.
Personally, I don't think this should be defended. What they call "quality control" I call "lack of free market enterprise." They argue that it's clutter to have 300 versions of the same game. I argue I want to look through as many offerings as possible to choose the one I like.
Also, I have never come across a trojan in the Play Store.
You never know. Apple was top of the world in the late 80's, early 90's. By 97 they were so low that MS invested in them to basically keep them afloat. It was Jobs that brought Apple back, and he's gone now. So never say never, is all I'm saying.
How is that a metric for how well a company is doing? What if they only made 7 and sold them all?
Apple fanboys are as loyal as one can be. They'll buy anything that Apple spits out. Doesn't mean the iPhone 5 is a bad product. It's actually the exact opposite. The demand is there and Apple can't keep up with it. Companies would love to have sold over a million of one of their products and still have a lot of customers wanting it. Almost a months worth of orders and counting.
