Is this because the deals are 100% back in rewards, not a fixed dollar amount back? Just wondering because you could roll rewards with the case paper deal from last week.

If so, does that mean that if you use app coupons to reduce the in-store price of the batteries, for example, then you will get back less than $12.99 in rewards?

the case paper was the exception to the rule. You only get back in rewards on 100% items what you pay OOP after using rewards/coupons.

You are correct for both questions. Coupons and rewards will reduce fixed % rewards back, but not fixed $ amount rewards.

yes, that's the difference. the wording for these items is different and is impacted by coupons/rewards use.

there's nothing wrong with paying less (ie, should be manu coupons for Duracell in the new P&G Insert that came in 9/30 newspapers), you'll get back what you pay. does lower your sales tax and up front oop some.

Using rewards to pay is just poor use of them. you'll wont get rewards back on from a rewards payment. so you've in effect "wasted" them on these.
